Role

Tech Lead at Inditex — One of the biggest names in the fashion retail domain. I’m currently working in the logistics department, extracting functionality from a monolith into microservices.

Responsibilities

  • Technical leadership of the platform’s evolution and architectural roadmap
  • Designed and implemented backend services in Java (Spring Boot)
  • Applied DDD, layered separation, and service-oriented architecture
  • Designed and exposed REST APIs for stock consultation
  • Optimised high-concurrency services for performance
  • Implemented event-driven communication via Kafka
  • Data modelling and schema evolution in PostgreSQL and MongoDB
